Joan McCallister, 69
Joan McCallister, 69 of New Boston died Thursday, April 27, 2006 at Heartland of Portsmouth. Joan was born July 19, 1936 in Portsmouth to the late Leslie Elmo (Tiny)
and Charlotte Mae Young Callihan. She was a homemaker and an active member of the Christian community.
Joan is survived by two sons, Michael McCallister of Sciotoville and Mark McCallister of Winchester, KY.; a daughter Belinda Ballengee of McDermott; a brother Garrett (Gary) Callihan of West Portsmouth; eight grandchildren, Joshua McCallister, Thomas Royal, Radley Ballengee, Justin McCallister, Cara McCallister, Mikie McCallister, Jessica McCallister, Christopher McCallister and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 A. M. Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
