Joann Scott, 71

Joann Scott, 71 of West Portsmouth died Friday, May 8, 2020 at her home. She was born May 4, 1949 in Friendship to the late Delbert and Bessie Jordan. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lee Scott Sr., a son, Joey Scott, a daughter, Bessie Scott, a granddaughter, Sharon Scott, and 2 sisters; Dorothy Burns and Eileen Scott.

Joann is survived by a son, Edward Lee Scott Jr., 2 grandchildren who she raised; Angel Scott and Edward Scott III, 3 brothers; Jack Jordan, Eugene Jordan, and Kenneth Jordan, and a sister, Evelena Fisher, along with several nieces and nephews.

She was a homemaker, kind, sweet lady who would do anything to help anyone. She was a babysitter to many and will be missed.
