Johanna N. Risner, 83

Johanna N. Risner, 83 of West Portsmouth passed away Saturday February 7, 2015 at SOMC Hospice. She was born September 9, 1931 in Missouri to the late Stella and Oscar Hudson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Risner in 1978.

Johanna was a Registered Nurse at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, Ohio. She retired from Southern Ohio Medical Center after many years of service. Johanna was loved by many and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She enjoyed all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved working with flowers, enjoyed reading and her pets. She was there with a helping hand for everyone. She had a kind soul and a loving heart.

Johanna is survived by a daughter Jayne Hamilton of West Portsmouth and a son Robert Wallace of Columbus, 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
