John David Bell, 45
John David Bell, 45 of Portsmouth, died Tuesday June 5, 2012 at his home. He was born December 5, 1966 in Portsmouth to the late Bonnie Sue Vaughn Kinder and Clyde (Rita) Bell of Ohio Furnace. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post # 471 and a former member of the STAR Workshop basketball team. He loved going to the legion and watching his nephews play ball.
Along with his father and stepmother, John sis survived by a daughter Kayla Marie Bell, a granddaughter Ciera Cade, 4 brothers; Michael (Pam) Bell of South Shore, Jamie (Melissa) Bell of Clarktown, Brent Bell and Jason Bell both Ohio Furnace, along with 10 nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday June 8, 2012 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Reverend Fred Bales officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8:00 PM on Thursday and 1 hour prior to the service on Friday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
