John Darrell Copas, 61

John Darrell Copas, 61 of West Portsmouth died Wednesday February 14, 2018 at his home. He was born September 1, 1956 in Blue Creek to the late Coleman E. and Lillian Pearl Evans Copas. John was an equipment operator, mechanic and a jack of all trades. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by 3 brothers and a sister.

John is survived by his wife, Rose Ferrell Copas who he married on July 26, 1975, a son John D. Copas Jr., a daughter Maria Jo Copas, 2 brothers, 5 sisters, 8 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
