John Martin Jarrells, 72

John Martin Jarrells, 72 died Friday August 19, 2016 at SOMC Hospice. He was born September 19, 1943 in Portsmouth to the late Alex and Margaret Stevens Jarrells. Along with his parents John was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Wilma Darlene Mills Jarrells, a brother Vernon Jarrells and 3 sisters; Cora Curnutte, Helen Mullen and June Howard.

John is survived by 4 sons; John (Stella) Jarrells Jr. of Lucasville, Joseph (Pam) Jarrells of Franklin Furnace, Paul (Tonya) Jarrells of Columbus and Mark Jarrells of Portsmouth, a brother Leroy Craft of Portsmouth, a sister Mary Ann Elrod of Tennessee, 7 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Monday August 22, 2016 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Kenny Carver and Lynn Wellman officiating. Interment will be in Friendship Cemetery.
