John J. Wright, 56
John J. Wright, 56 of West Portsmouth died Friday, August 26, 2005 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus. John was born October 29, 1948 in Portsmouth to the late Albert and Catherine Crabtree Wright. He had worked as a Grounds Keeper at the Elks Country Club.
John was preceded in death by his wife Marilyn Shepherd Wright. He is survived by a special friend, Ora McClary; a son John J. Wright II of West Portsmouth; two daughters, Jacqueline Wright and Stacie Wright both of West Portsmouth; three brothers, Eddie, Rick, and Randall Wright all of Columbus; a sister, Deborah Rice of Columbus; three grandchildren, Joshua, Johnathan, and Colten; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a sister Mary Ann Smith.
Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Wednesday, August 31, 2005 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with George Vastine officiating and interment in Vaughters Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 5 to 9 P.M. on Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
