Jonathan "John" Bishop, 61
Jonathan "John" Bishop, 61 of West Portsmouth died Tuesday August 18, 2009 at OSU Medical Center. He was born August 17, 1948 in Maryland to the late Marshall Earl Bishop Sr. John was a machinist and worked at area gas stations.
John is survived by his wife Susie Brown Bishop who he married on April 11, 1982, 4 sons; Jonathan, Jeffrey and Andrew Bishop of West Portsmouth and, Michael Bishop of Illinois, 3 grandchildren, JR, Jose and Anthony Bishop and 1 on the way, 4 brothers; Marshall Jr, Mike , Bill and Andrew Bishop and a sister Evelena Price.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday August 24, 2009 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Don Monttased officiating and interment in Drake Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8:00 PM on Sunday and one hour prior to the service on Monday. www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
