Joseph "Joe" Browning 66
Joseph "Joe" Browning, 66 of West Portsmouth died Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at his residence. Joe was born April 26, 1940 in South Portsmouth, KY to the late Leonard and Mary Girdler Lyons Browning. He was a truck mechanic.
He is survived by a son, Joseph Browning of Florida; three daughters, Teresa Jo, Mary Jane Browning of Florida and Ashley Dawn Browning of West Portsmouth; two brothers, Charles Browning of McDermott and Paul Browning of Piketon; two sisters, Barbara Ann Hatfield and Mary Browning both of Portsmouth; three grandsons, Joseph Braxton Michael May, Joseph Lee Journey, and Jeremy Leonard Browning. He is also survived by his cat Ralphy. Joe was preceded in death by a brother James Browning.
Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Ted Colley officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 6 to 8 P.M. on Monday and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneral home.com.
