Joseph "Joe" Herbert Howard, 41
Joseph "Joe" Herbert Howard, 41 died Monday, June 27, 2005 at his residence. Joe was born August 29, 1963 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Reverend Ezra Howard and to Louella Estep Howard who survives. He was a roofer, a Charter member of the Dry Run Horseshoe Club, and was baptized by the Reverend Ezra Burton in June of 2004.
Joe is survived by two daughters, Ashley Gallimore and Cara Jo Howard of Lucasville and their Mother, Laurie Gallimore; three brothers, Jim, Ernie, and David Howard all of West Portsmouth; five sisters, Judy Skaggs and Linda Martin of West Portsmouth, Nancy Hall of Amelia, Betsy Altfas of Portland, Oregon, and Rudi Smith of Amelia; many nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Bonnie and Mary Sue Howard and two brothers, Eddie and Ricky Howard.
Funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Reverend Ezra Burton officiating and interment in Estep Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 11 A.M. until 1 P.M. on Wednesday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
