Joshua Robert Prose, 31 of West Portsmouth, died Friday February 18, 2011 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born October 24, 1979 in Portsmouth to Robert Frances and Judith Loretta Howard Prose of West Portsmouth.

Along with his parents Josh is survived by his wife Stephanie Lynn Harr Prose who he married April 24, 2006, 3 stepchildren; Michael Norman Cottrell Jr., Matthew Nicholas Cottrell and Megan Nicole Cottrell, a brother, Mickey (Patsy) Prose of Lucasville, 3 sisters; Robin (Greg) Timberlake of West Portsmouth, Tammy (Danny) Wheelersburg of McDermott and Stephanie (Randy) Callihan of West Portsmouth, 13 nieces and nephews; Zach Davis, Erika Ward, Luke Bricker, Kati Hall, Dillon Timberlake, Harrison Prose, Caralea Wheelersburg, Braxton Callihan, Travis Prose, Sydni Callihan, Maria Prose, Mindy Grooms and Eli Brown along with several great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday February 24, 2011 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Don Ellis officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park.
