Joyce Ann Blevins Cook, 50
Joyce Ann Blevins Cook, 50, of Friendship died Monday, November 13, 2006 at her residence. Joyce was born September 1, 1956 in Portsmouth to Jonas and Clarabelle Murphy Blevins who survive. Joyce worked for STAR Justice System and Sodexho.
Joyce is survived by her ex husband Donald Cook; one son, Page and Evalina Cook of Stout; two daughters, Dorothy Cook and Lester Fegly of Stout, Chelsea Cook of Friendship; three brothers, Jonas "Tom" Blevins of Friendship, William "Red" Blevins of Blue Creek, Roy "Pete" Blevins of McDermott; six sisters, Mary Holsinger of Manchester, Wilma Holsinger of Stout, Audrey Roe of New Boston, Lenore Blevins of Stout, Brenda Parker of Stout and Harriette Richmond of Stout; and four grandchildren, Summer Page Cook, Page Franklin Cook, Jr., Morgan Irene Cook, and Bobby Lemon. Joyce was preceded in death by one sister Laura Hayslip.
Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Thursday, November 16, 2006 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Paul Holbrook officiating and interment in McKendree Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 5 to 8 P.M. on Wednesday and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com .
