Juanita Allen, 88

Juanita Allen, 88 of McDermott, went to be with the Lord Thursday November 3, 2011 at Heartland of Portsmouth. She was born July 22, 1923 in Greenup, Ky to the late Brasque and Alice Quillen Boggs. She was a homemaker and a member of Rush Free Baptist Church. Along with her parents Juanita was preceded in death by her husband James Leroy Allen Sr. who she married on July 22, 1946 and passed away on October 2, 1980 and her son James Leroy Allen Jr who passed away on May 22, 2011 along with 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Juanita is survived by 3 daughters; Judy Fuller of McDermott, Pam (Duane) Kilgore of Portsmouth and Donna Allen of McDermott, 8 grandchildren; Chris (Tonya) Allen of McDermott, Jennifer (Brian) Wilson of Lucasville, Brian Fuller, Kevin Fuller and Valeri Fuller all of McDermott, Craig (Regina) Kilgore of Portsmouth, Betsy (Mike) Cremeans of Illinois and Lori Kilgore of Portsmouth, along with 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday November 5, 2011 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth and interment in Rushtown Cemetery.
