Juanita Mae Peed, 85

Juanita Mae Sagowitz Peed, 85 of West Portsmouth, died Friday January 28, 2011 at the Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born March 20, 1925 in Portsmouth Ohio, to the late Adolph and Leona Atkins Sagowitz. She was a loving mother and homemaker and a member of the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Everett Peed who she married July 5, 1947 at St Mary's Catholic Church, a brother; Harold Sagowitz, 3 sisters; Emma Maguire, Alice Henderson and Wilma Sagowitz.

Juanita is survived by two sons; Gregg (Deb) Peed of Minford Ohio, Mark Peed of West Portsmouth, 3 daughters; Susan Layman and partner Vickie Tower of Columbus Ohio, Ann (Rich) Guggisberg of Millersburg Ohio and Marybeth (Matt) Morgan of West Portsmouth, 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family. The family would like to thank caregivers; Brenda, Melvina, Nicki, Tami and Connie for all their love and support they have given to their mother.

Funeral Services will be 11:00AM Tuesday February 1, 2011 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in West Portsmouth with Father David Young officiating and interment in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth on Monday from 5 to 8:00PM with a Scripture service following at 8:00PM.
