Juanita Skaggs, 79

Juanita Skaggs, 79 of West Portsmouth, died Tuesday August 24, 2021 at her home. She was born May 19, 1942 in Portsmouth to the late Lonnie Durham and Bell Johnson. She was a homemaker and a member of Rehoboth Mission Church. She loved her Lord. She was a wonderful loving mother and grandmother.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Billy Gene Skaggs, who she married April 10, 1962 in Portsmouth, a son Billy Ray Skaggs and a sister, Lorraine Weeks.

Juanita is survived by a son Preston Eugene (Keri) Skaggs, 3 daughters; Susan Elizabeth (Michael) Griffin, Yvonne (Lowell) Kinney and Margaret (Daniel) Ouellette, 12 grandchildren; Lowell Kinney Jr., Juanita Toller, Lesia Skaggs, Jamie Toller, Mark Ginn, Danielle Ginn, Gabe Skaggs, Joshua Scott Cleland, Chelsea Rose, Steven Rose, Silas Horner and Kaitlyn Veach along with several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday August 27, 2021 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Dave Lute officiating. Interment will be in Scioto Burial Park.
