Juanita Laura Tolle Grooms 79
Juanita Laura Tolle Grooms 79 of Buckeye Tower in New Boston, died Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at SOMC Hospice. Juanita was born September 13, 1930 in Scioto County to the late Albert and Rosa Hickman Tolle. She was a member of Central Baptist Church and had worked at Williams Shoe Factory and in the Courthouse as a secretary. Juanita was preceded in death by her husband; Gerald Jerry Grooms whom she married, June 12, 1970 in Vanceburg, Ky, one son; Robert Malone, one daughter; Laura Louise Malone, one grandson; Shawn Malone and two brothers; Robert and Walter Tolle.
Juanita is survived by five sons; Jerry Grooms of Tampa, Fl, William Malone of San Diego, CA, Danny Malone of Nevada City, Ca, Steve (Elaine) Malone of Estes Park, Co, and James (Francis) Malone of San Diego, Ca, two daughters; Donna (Gary) Arnett of Portsmouth and Pennie (Daniel Copley) Tackett of Wayne, Wv, one brother; Donald Tolle of Wheelersburg, one sister; Thelma Ryan of Columbus, sister-in-law; Edie Tolle of Riverview, Fl, 24 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a Special Caregiver; Tammy Evans.
Funeral services will be 1PM Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Central Baptist Church 1646 Highland Avenue, Portsmouth, Ohio with Arlis McCall officiating and interment in Mt Joy Cemetery.
