Judith A. Fairchild 66,

Judith A. Fairchild 66, of Portsmouth passed away on Tuesday January 4, 2011 at her residence surrounded by family and friends. She was born August 21, 1944 in Mansfield Ohio to the late Elmer E. Foley and Mildred Mourine Phillips. Judith retired from General Motors after 25 years of service, she then moved to Portsmouth Ohio with her husband Kelley P. Fairchild, who preceded her in death. Judy was a member of the Woman's Auxiliary Post 23 from January 10, 2003 to present and served as president for two years. She was also preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Mildred Foley; a brother Richard Foley, and a sister; Donna Garn.

She is survived by 4 children; Judy (Timothy) Rector, Brenda Carlin, Robert Beatty, Richard Beatty, Two brothers Paul Foley of Portsmouth, Charles Foley of Arkansas. 6 step-children; Kelley Fairchild Jr., Allen Fairchild, Laura Counterman, David Fairchild, Tina Allmandinger, Angie Jackson, and 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 12 step grandchildren, 4 step great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday January 8, 2011 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Rev. Timothy Rector officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park with tribute by honor guard of the Post 23 American Legion. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4 to 9:00 pm and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
