Julia Malissa Blevins, 84

Julia Malissa Blevins, 84 of Blue Creek, died Sunday November 24, 2024 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland Kentucky. She was born July 22, 1940, in Adams county to the late Everett  A. and Kathleen Sadie Stepp Evans. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband David E. Blevins, 2 sons, Richard Craig Blevins and David Wayne Blevins, a grandson, David Sanford Blevins, and a brother, Richard C. Evans.

Julia worked at Mercy Hospital for many years as well as Krispie Cream. Her main job, which she enjoyed very much was raising her 5 boys.

She is survived by 3 sons; Randall (Tina) Blevins. Roger (Cindy) Blevins, and Keith (Debra) Blevins, 3 sisters, Vivian Hagen, Ruth McKenzie, and Jessie Evans, 5 grandchildren, Malissa Sarver, Roger Blevins Jr, Mitchell Blevins II, Richard Craig Blevins, and Victoria Blevins, 9 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00PM Monday December 2, 2024, at the Roger W Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Greg Cooper officiating and interment in Drake Cemetery.
