Karl E.T. Murray, 87

Karl E.T. Murray, 87 of McDermott died Sunday, November 8, 2015 at his home. He was born February 8, 1928 in McDermott to the late Ora and Flossie Delaney Murray. He was a retired Instrument Technician at Goodyear Atomic Plant; was a United States Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, and attended Old Town United Methodist Church. His hobbies included car restoration and reading. Along with his parents Karl was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Hansen Murray.

Karl is survived by 2 sons; Michael Karl (Betsy) Murray of Xenia, and Jody Thomas (Tammy) Murray of Zanesville, his partner Janet Lee Keyes of McDermott and her children; Jeffrey Keyes, Karen Keyes (John), Lisa Hammond, her 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, 2 sisters Ruby Sloan Clark (Joe) and Norma Pyles both of Florida, 5 grandchildren; Benjamin Murray, Emily Zerling, Rachel Murray, Hannah Murray, and Katie Murray, 3 great grandchildren Gretchen Zerling, Luisa Zerling, and KJ Murray.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday November 11, 2015 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Mark Seevers officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday starting at 12 Noon. The family request that donations be made to Old Town United Methodist Church Food Bank in Karl's name.
