Katherine L. Venturino, 69

Katherine Lucille Venturino, 69 of West Portsmouth died Tuesday October 11, 2016 at SOMC Hospice. She was born October 25, 1946 in Portsmouth to the late Elmer Lee and Lillian Lucille Hammock Gallimore. She was a graduate of Portsmouth West High School and Shawnee State University. She was employed at the Portsmouth Daily Times for 23 years.

She is survived by a son, Mark Anthony Venturino, and a daughter, Melissa Ann Pennington both of West Portsmouth, a granddaughter, Tori Lynn Pennington, a sister Tonya (Dave) Tumbleson of West Portsmouth, a brother, Elmer Lee Gallimore Jr., several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Friday, October 14, 2016 at Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Jimmy McCullough officiating and internment in Rushtown Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8:00 PM on Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
