Kathleen L. Maier, 89

Kathleen L. Maier, 89 of West Portsmouth, died Sunday September 24, 2017 at Riverbend House in Wheelersburg. She was born August 13, 1928 in Lawrence County to the late Grover and Helen Farmer Brown. She was a member of the Salvation Army. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Milton Shope who was killed in WWII and her second husband Henry Maier., 2 brothers; Fred and Donald Brown and a sister Marcella Tatman.

Kathleen is survived by a son James (Lois) Shope of Wheelersburg, 2 sisters; Helen Brown of West Portsmouth and Mildred Quillen of FL., 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Thursday September 28, 2017 in Edgewood Abby at Memorial Park in Wheelersburg. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com,
