Kathleen M. "Katie" Staten, 81
Kathleen M. "Katie" Staten, 81 of Portsmouth died Friday, July 08, 2005 at Heartland of Portsmouth. Kathleen was born December 31, 1923 in Portsmouth to the late Joe and Nancy J. Sparks Kibby. She worked as a Nurse's Aide at Mercy Hospital for many years.
Kathleen is survived by two sons, Gregory O. Staten of Vidor, TX and Jeffrey A. Staten of Portsmouth; a daughter, Elaine M. Chaloux of Granby, MA; six grandchilrden, Angie Staten of North Carolina, Lauren and Stacy Bernash of Massachusetts, Jon & Mike Staten and Shannon Castle of Texas; two great grandchildren, Morgan and Ashtchin Castle of Texas. Katie was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
Graveside services will be held at Scioto Burial Park at 1 P.M. Tuesday, July 12, 2005 with Matt Brooks officiating. The family will be present at the Cemetery to greet friends from 12 to 1 P.M. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
