Kathryn Irene Holsinger, 94
Kathryn Irene Holsinger, 94 of Marengo, Ohio formerly of West Portsmouth, died Saturday March 19, 2011 at her home. She was born September 10, 1916 in Scioto County to the late Page and Sadie Horsley Cook. Along with her parents Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband Troy Liston Holsinger, a son Stanley Troy Holsinger, a daughter Bessie Bernice Holsinger, 3 brothers; Arthur, George and Paige Cook, and 4 sisters; Rosie Nelson, Goldie Holsinger, Flossie Howell and Effie Colven.
Katheryn is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Robert Eugene and Blandina Holsinger and grandson Gus all of Marengo, a brother Chester Cook of Blue Creek, 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
There will be graveside services 2:00 PM Tuesday March 22, 2011 at McKendree Cemetery with Chuck Holsinger officiating with interment to follow. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
