Kathy Ann Cooper, 60

Kathy Ann Cooper, 60 of West Portsmouth, died Monday, September 7, 2026 at her home. She was born October 29, 1965 in Portsmouth to Earl Frye and the late Virginia Brannan Frye.

Along with her mother she is preceded in death by a son Joseph Maynard, a sister Anita Wooldridge and a brother Charlie Brannan

Kathy is survived by her father Earl Frye, her fiancé’, James Jordan, a son, James Maynard Jr., 3 daughters; Melissa Maynard, Stacey Maynard and Samantha Chaffins, 2 stepsons; Brad Jordan and James Jordan Jr., 3 step daughters; Savannah Jordan, Kayla Jordan and Pamela Ann Jordan, her former husband James Maynard Sr. Along with several grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 7:00 PM Saturday, September 12, at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Shawn Spencer officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday starting 5:00 PM. Condolences and may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
