Kenneth Edward Green, 93

Kenneth Edward Green, 93 of West Portsmouth, died Thursday, December 11, 2025 at SOMC Hospice. He was born June 24, 1932 in Portsmouth, to the late Edward and Ruby Sally Green.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Juanita Joyce Green, whom he married on March 1, 1952, 2 sisters; Patsy Whitt and Betty Miller and a grandson, Issac Green.

Kenneth was a United States Navy veteran of the Koren War. He retired from Newark Air Force Base. After retirement he loved spending time boating on the Ohio River and working at Shawnee State Golf Course. He was a member of the James Dickey Post 23 American Legion and Dry Run Church of Christ.

He is survived by a son, Larry (Laura) Green, a daughter Brenda Malone and a daughter of his heart Vicki Green, a brother Luke Green, a sister Ginny Copley, 4 grandchildren; Joshua (Savannah) Malone, Jeremiah Malone, Jacob (Wendy) Green and Elijah Green, along with 4 great grandchildren; Joshua Jase Malone, Malakai Malone, Van Green and Vince Green.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday December 19, 2025 at the Roger W,. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Mark Seevers officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace with graveside military rites provided by the James Dickey Post 23 American Legion.
