Kenneth E. Waddell, 68

Kenneth E. Waddell 68, of Myrtle Beach, formerly of Portsmouth, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2015. He was born October 26, 1946, in Portsmouth to the late Noah and Mary Fox Waddell.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Leadingham.

Kenneth was a bookkeeper supervisor for the Horry County Schools System.  He had also worked at Myrtle Beach High School as a bookkeeper for many years.  Prior to moving to Myrtle Beach, he was assistant treasurer for Portsmouth Schools.  Kenneth most of all he was an avid Ohio State Buckeye Fan.

He is survived by three sisters, Mary Frances Madden of Murrells Inlet, SC, Joanne Parker and Shirley Hanley both of Portsmouth, Ohio.

A graveside service will be held 11:00AM Wednesday June 24, 2015 at Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg, with Jason Coriell officiating. Friends may call the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth from 6 to 8:00PM on Tuesday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
