Larry Keith Martin, 77

Larry Keith Martin, 77 of West Portsmouth, died Monday September 3, 2018 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born November 1, 1940 in Portsmouth to the late Raymond and Sue Crabtree Martin. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by 4 brothers; Raymond, Thomas, Bernard and Edward Martin.

Larry retired from Norfolk and Southern Railroad after 30 years of service. He was a United States Army veteran and was a member and Deacon of Community of Christ Church in McDermott.

Larry is survived by his wife of 53 years Linda Howard Martin, a son Larry G. (Regina) Martin, 2 daughters; Heidi (Charles) Moreno and Mindy (Michael) Miller, 2 sisters; Annette Miller and Winona Steele, 7 grandchildren; Aaron Martin whom he raised, Alexandra Martin, Caroline and Emily Moreno, Trish and Wendy Johnson and Michael Miller along with 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Wednesday September 5, 2018 at Community of Christ Church in McDermott with Ed Cable officiating. Interment will be in Scioto Burial Park with graveside military rites by the James Dickey Post 23 American Legion. Friends may call at the Roger W.
