LaVere Galloway, 64
Alma LaVere Galloway, 64 of Blue Creek died Saturday, September 2, 2006. LaVere was born December 17, 1941 in Portsmouth to Virginia Newcomer Monoskie of Portsmouth and the late Elmer Edward Monoskie. She was a homemaker.
LaVere is survived by her husband, Eugene Galloway whom she married March 31, 1978; a son, David Edward (Delores) Gray of Stout; four daughters, Tammie (Bill) Hayslip of Stout, Hettie Gray of Portsmouth, Dora (Tom) Campbell of West Portsmouth, Polly Ann (Ronnie) Richmond of Friendship; two stepsons, Ralph Eugene (Amy) Galloway, Ronald Dean Galloway; a stepdaughter Millie Margaret Mills; two brothers, Dr. Forrest (Rose) Monoskie of Wheelersburg, Lloyd (Blanche) Monoskie of Texas; 18 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother Gerald Monoskie.
Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Reverend James Parker officiating and interment in McKendree Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 6 to 8 P.M. on Tuesday and one hour before the service on Wednesday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
