Leroy Glenn "Jake" Lewis, age 77, of West Milton, Ohio formerly of West Portsmouth, Ohio died Thursday, December 11, 2014.  Jake was preceded in death by his parents James and Margaret Vernier Lewis.  Brothers: Bernard, James, Ralph "John" Lewis. Sisters: Kathryn Young, Thelma Cooper, Evelyn Montavon, Anna Hayslip.

Mr. Lewis' retired from Dayton Power and Light and farmed in West Portsmouth, OH for years before and after his retirement.  Jake served our country through the U.S. Army.  In his youth he was active in 4-H as a member and leader in Scioto County, OH.

He is survived by Carolyn Braden Lewis and children: Scott Lewis of West Portsmouth, Cindy (Keithen) McKenzie of Paintsville, KY, Keith (Carla) Lewis of West Milton, OH.  Grandchildren: Brittany Lewis-Reed, Alex Lewis, Hana Lewis and Great-grandson Bentley Reed.  Sisters: Louise Hatton of Dayton, OH, Betty Elrod of Lexington, KY, and brother William (Linda) Lewis of Lucasville, OH.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday December 14, 2014 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Mark Seevers officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park.
