Lillian Lucille Gallimore, 90
Lillian Lucille Gallimore, 90 of West Portsmouth died Friday January 1, 2010 at Hempsted Manor. She was born June 12, 1919 in Portsmouth to the late Frank and Pearl Copley Hammock. She was a former Phoenix Pie Company employee and was a member of Pond Run Baptist Church. Along with her parents Lucille was preceded in death by her husband Elmer Lee Gallimore Sr. a brother, Truman Hammock and a sister Mary Ruth Gray.
Lucille is survived by a son Elmer Lee (Rosella) Gallimore Jr., 2 daughters; Katherine Lucille Venturino and Tonya (Dave) Tumbleson all of West Portsmouth, a brother Frank Hammock Jr of Fl., 8 grandchildren; Rochelle (Steve) Boyd, Leeanna Conschafsky, Melinda (Aaron) Cyrus, Mark Venturino, Melissa Pennington, David (Susie) Tumbleson, Josh and Jeremiah Tumbleson along with 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday January 5, 2010 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Jimmy McCullough officiating and internment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 5 to 8:00 PM and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to Pond Run Baptist Church.
