Lillian Louise O'Dell, 86
Lillian Louise O'Dell, 86 of Lucasville formally of Carey's Run West Portsmouth, died Wednesday December 17, 2008 at SOMC Hospice. She was born July 29, 1922 in Portsmouth to the late Clarence and Gladys Schuler Sanford. She was a homemaker and a member of Carey's Run Church of Christ and Dry Run Church of Christ. Along with her parents Louise was preceded in death by her husband William O'Dell whom she married on August 16, 1941 in Portsmouth, a daughter Elizabeth Ann "Susie" O'Dell, 2 brothers; Carl and Donald Sanford and a sister Flo Gaines.
Louise is survived by 4 sons; Mike (Glenda) O'Dell of Springboro, William T. O'Dell of Grove City, Dan (Anita) O'Dell of Wellston and David (Mary Beth) O'Dell of Lucasville, 1 brother, "Butch" Nile T. Sanford of Monroe, MI, 3 sisters; Jean Fultz of Lucasville, Vera Faust of Proctorville and Betty Thomas of Edan Park, 8 grandchildren, 11 step grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 9 step great grandchildren and 1 step great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday December 21, 2008 at Dry Run Church of Christ in West Portsmouth with Mark Seevers officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8:00 PM on Saturday at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth and 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
