Linda Sue Charles, 59
Linda Sue Charles, 59 of Portsmouth, died Thursday November 6, 2008 at Pike Community Hospital. She was born December 7, 1948 in Portsmouth to the late Cager and Oma Collins Spencer. She was a homemaker and attended First Christian Holiness Church. Along with her parents Linda was preceded in death by 3 brothers; Roger, Clyde and Edgar Spencer and 2 sisters; Evelyn Springs and Myrtle Allen.
Linda is survived by 3 sons' Randy Springs and Aulbert Charles both of New Boston and Joey Springs of Portsmouth, 1 daughter Julie Copas of Otway, 6 brothers; Claude of Chillicothe, Ronnie of McDermott, Gary of Iowa, Tom, Albert and Willie all of Portsmouth, 6 sisters Maltie Winn, Louise Smith, Patricia Fields, Mildred Collins all of Portsmouth, Venus Loper of West Portsmouth and Becky Orin of McDermott, along with 5 grandchildren and a close friend Mary Hicks.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday November 9, 2008 at Rarden Nazarene Church with Jason Koch officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the church from Noon until the funeral hour. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com . Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth.
