Linda Sue Johnson, 73

Linda Sue Johnson, 73, of New Boston, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2026, at SOMC Hospice. She was born January 27, 1953, in Wheelwright, Kentucky, to the late George and Dixie Newsome Johnson.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Joe Kidder; three brothers, Ellis Lee Johnson, Jimmy Johnson, and Elmer Johnson; and two sisters, Leona Kennedy and Janice Johnson.

Linda loved to bowl and play bingo and Texas Hold’em. She also loved her little doggies.

Linda is survived by a son, Chris (Danielle) Kleinman; a brother, Delmer (Tracy) Johnson; four sisters, Wyoma Martin, Georgian Moore, Louise (Danny) Burgess, and Marie Johnson; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 23 nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, October 12, 2026, at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth, with interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace.
