Lloyd Willard Cowgill, 81

Lloyd Willard Cowgill, 81 of West Portsmouth, a born again Christian went to be with the Lord Monday October 6, 2008 at his residence. He was born July 8, 1927 in Franklin, Ohio the 7th son and 12th child of the late William and Clara Lloyd Cowgill. He was retired from Pitney Bows where he was a paper worker for 44 years, was a life member of the North American Fishing Club and a true believer in our Lord Jesus Christ.. Along with his parents Lloyd was preceded in death by 6 brothers and 5 sisters.

Lloyd is survived by his wife of 50 years Donna Tague Cowgill who he married on March 28, 1959 in Newport, Ky., a son Clifford Cowgill, 2 daughters; Brenda Sizemore and Lorene Elaine Cowgill., 5 grandchildren; Susie Winters, Shannel Rudy, Leona Rudy, Stephanie and Lloyd Coyner,, 7 great grandchildren; Nyriah, Destiny, Kayla, Lloyd,. Dakota, Reggie and Ellie, special nieces Patty, Dorothy and Darlene and 66 foster children.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday October 8, 2008 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Robert Cooley officiating and interment in Butler County Memorial Park.
