Lois Avanelle Humphreys, 76
Lois Avanelle Humphreys, 76 of West Portsmouth died Tuesday, September 21, 2004 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. Lois was born March 19, 1928 in Scioto County to the late Charles and Anna Timberlake Doddridge.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband Guy Fredrick Humphreys. She is survived by two sons, Samuel Lee Humphreys of Rockwall, Texas, Fredrick Vernon Humphreys of Georgia; two daughters, Mary Elizabeth McGlone of West Portsmouth, Tamie Lynn Kuras of Wisconsin; one sister Gladys Horn; 14 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Lois was preceded in death by three brothers, five sisters and one great grandson.
Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Friday, September 24, 2004 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Reverend David Distel officiating and interment in Friendship Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 7 to 9 P.M. Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
