Louis E. Frye, 89

Louis E Frye, 89 of West Portsmouth, died Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at SOMC Hospice. He was born September 15, 1928 in New Boston to the late Emory and Tennessee Meenech Frye. He was a Navy WWII Veteran, a retired construction worker, and a member of the Portsmouth Moose Lodge. Louis loved the outdoors, riding motorcycles, fishing and OSU. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Mary Ann Ball and a brother Donald Frye.

Louis is survived by his wife Janet Charles Frye, a daughter, Connie Sue Kuykendall, a brother, Pastor Craddock (Patricia) Frye, 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 16 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Louis loved and raised many other children and was loved by his beloved dog Trixie.

Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Saturday November 18, 2017 at Frye Cemetery on Stoney Run with Craddock Frye officiating. Friends may call at the Roger W.
