Lowell C. Reed, 56
Lowell C. Reed, 56 of Portsmouth, died Tuesday January 15, 2013 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born August 21, 1956 in Portsmouth to the late Clifford Reed and Lovetta DeAtley Reed of Portsmouth. He was retired from Southern Ohio Correctional Facility where he worked on the farm. Along with his father Lowell was preceded in death by his grandparents George and Hazel Reed and David and Nellie DeAtley.
Lowell is survived by his mother Lovetta Reed, 3 daughters; Melinda (Michael) Adams of McDermott, Kimberly (Josh) Wells of South Shore and Suzanne (Tyson) Kemp of Front Royal, Va., 7 grandchildren; Kandace (Daniel), Koty, Avayda, Joshua, Jordyn, Chance and C.J., 2 brothers; Roger Reed of Tavares, Fl. And Michael (Becky) Reed of Columbus, 3 sisters; Helen Grant of Portsmouth, Donna (Tagg) Devillez of Hamilton and Mary (Tim) Brown of Wheelersburg, along with several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday January 18, 2013 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Larry Wells and Randall Kelley officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday starting at 11:00 AM. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
