Lucille Mabel Windle, 85
Lucille Mabel Vinson Windle, 85 of West Portsmouth, died June 13, 2011 at Crystal Care Center of Portsmouth. She was born November 23, 1925 in Wheelersburg to the late Sheridan and Virgie G. Skaggs Vinson. She was a member of United Baptist Church in Wheelersburg for over 57 years. Along with her parents Lucille was preceded in death by 2 sisters; Evelyn McManus and Delores Hosey.
Lucille is survived by her husband of 64 years William Loren Windle who she married on August 29, 1946 in Greenup Kentucky, a son William Lynn Windle of West Portsmouth and a daughter Paula Jean Butler of McDermott, a sister Juanita Windle of McDermott, 5 grandchildren; Rodney Windle of Pataskala, Travis Windle of Groveport, Bradley Windle of Chillicothe, Lisa Kitchen of Ottawa and Brett Butler of McDermott and 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday June 17, 2011 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with J.D Riggs, Clayton Oliver, Marshall Oliver and Jimmy Blanton officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth from 6 to 8:00 pm on Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday. The family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Lucille's name. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
