Lyda Hinze, 92

Lyda Hinze, 92 of West Portsmouth died Sunday December 14, 2014. She was born June 10, 1922 to the late Ralph Lundy and Myrtle Marie Mullen Lundy. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Adrian Hinze whom she was married to for 48 years, a son Donald Richard "Dick" Hinze, and a sister Kathryn Riley.

She was a Nurses Aid at Mercy Hospital for 26 years and a member of the Church of Christ In Christian Union in West Portsmouth.

Lyda is survived by her daughter Linda (Roger) Gray of Lucasville, 2 sisters; Audrey Carver and June VanKirk both of McDermott. 4 Grandchildren; Tammy (Brian) Seaman of Lucasville, Lori (Blake "Buddy") Emmons of Versailles, KY, Vonda (David) Rogers of Lucasville, and Todd (Jill) Hinze of Rosemount,  12 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday December 19, 2014 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Samuel Salyer officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park.
