Mabel Ruth "Polly" Andre, 82
Mabel Ruth "Polly" Andre, 82 of West Portsmouth, died Thursday November 19, 2009 at SOMC Hospice. She was born August 8, 1927 in Adams County to the late Robert and Inez Jean Flanaghan Himes. She was a homemaker and a member of Mabert Road Baptist Church and the Red Hat Society. Along with her parents Polly was preceded in death by her husband Donald Andre who she married on July 4, 1947, a son Jay David Andre and a grandson Aaron Keil Andre.
Polly is survived by 3 sons; Donald (Nancy) Andre, Ronald Andre and Jeff ( Becky) Andre all of West Portsmouth, 4 grandchildren; Abbi Andre, Scott Andre, Jennifer Staker and Kiley Andre along with 6 great grandchildren, a sister Juanita Clifton of Chicago, Ill, best friend Marilyn Osborne and her cat "Lion".
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM on Monday November 23, 2009 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Jack Williams officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 5:00 PM on Sunday and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
