Marcella Jean Ash, 78
Marcella Jean Elliott Ash, 78, of West Portsmouth, died Wednesday March 10, 2010, at home. She was born June 30, 1931, in Nile Township to the late Stanley A. and Dolly Mae McGraw Elliott. She was a homemaker. Along with her parents Marcella was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Ash, who she married on May 22, 1953 in Lucasville, a daughter Fay Ash, 2 sisters Betty Jane Morris and Deetta Virgean Elliott Chamblin, 3 brothers Stanley A. Elliott Jr., Howard B. Elliott and Donald F. Elliott.
Marcella is survived by a son Ralph Greg Ash of Portsmouth; a brother Forrest Elliott of West Portsmouth, and a sister, Marjorie Dials of Franklin Furnace and a special black poodle "King".
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday March 15, 2010 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with George Vastine officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8:00 PM on Sunday and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
