Marcella Stromquist, 78
Marcella Stromquist, 78 of West Portsmouth, died Friday March 28, 2008 at Heartland of Portsmouth. She was born April 30, 1929 in Rushtown to the late Hershel and Alice Brown Stout. Marcella was a former employee of Patterson Box Company and was a member of the Red Hat Society. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John Stromquist, 2 sisters; Alice Thacker and Louise Stout and 3 brothers; Harold, Robert and Albert Stout.
Marcella is survived by 2 brothers Walter Stout of McDermott and Hershel Stout of Portsmouth, a brother-in-law Frank Thacker of West Portsmouth, a special nephew and his wife Mark and Samantha Thacker of West Portsmouth along with several other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Dan Rowe officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday and 1 hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
