Marcia Gail Winters, 68

Marcia Gail Norman Winters, 68 of Shrewsbury Township, NJ (formerly of West Portsmouth, OH) died Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Anderson Mercy Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. She was born May 24, 1954 in Portsmouth, OH to the late William and Lillian Chaffin Norman.

Along with her parents she was predeceased by a brother Steve "Ric Swann" Norman, 2 brothers in law: John Ward and Dwight Thomas, nephew, Bill Thomas; and nieces, Angie Arnett and Robin Moran.

Marcia was a loving and caring mother and Nana. She worked for the AutoTrain and the FBI before becoming a mother of three. She was the leader of the Daisy Troop and was Commissioner of BYAA Soccer league for several years. She liked to bowl, visit the ocean, and cheer for OSU. In her later years, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and telling them stories.

She was a fighter in every sense of the word. Always one looking for a laugh and a good time, she will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and loved ones. She leaves behind so many great memories.

Marcia is survived by her longtime partner, Patrick Thomson; her son Jack Bradley (Holly) Winters; her 2 daughters: Lisa Michelle Winters and Amy Mary Winters; brother Dave (Cathy) Norman; sisters: Penny Ward and Cheryl Thomas; the father of her children, Dr. Jack Winters; 5 grandchildren: John, Jacob, Mya, Austin, and Penny; and her best friend/other half since the age of 5, Connie Cox.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Monday June 13, 2022 at Scioto Burial Park in McDermott, Ohio.

A memorial service will also be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday June 16, 2022 at Off the Hook Restaurant in Atlantic Highlands, NJ.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Heart Association and the American Kidney Association in Marcia's name.
