Margaret Bernice Canter, 77

Margaret Bernice Canter, 77 of West Portsmouth went home to be with the Lord Thursday, March 10, 2005 at her residence. Margaret was born September 6, 1927 in Yakima, Washington to the late Joseph and Stella Faulkner Carvo. She had attended Rehoboth Mission and Rubyville Community Church. She had worked as a housekeeper at Southern Ohio Medical Center.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Charles R. Canter, Sr. She is survived by three sons, Charles (Karin) Canter of Canel Winchester, William "Tony" (Frances) Canter of West Portsmouth, Michael (Telena) Canter of West Portsmouth; one daughter, Ramona Monoskie of West Portsmouth; 8 grandchildren, Kelly A. Canter, Michael T. Canter, Ragina R. Monoskie, Kristy A. Canter, Kourtney M. Canter, Anthony J. (A.J.) Canter, Kaitlyn M. Canter, Michael W. Canter II; two brothers, Delbert (Margie) Carvo of Lynwood, Washington, Lloyd (Ruby) Carvo of Yakima, Washington; two sisters, Rose Walrod of Pleasantion, Kansas, and Ramona (Gene) Tudor of Twin Falls, Idaho, two sister-in-laws Helen Carvo, of Sea Tac, Washington and Doris Carvo of Yakima, Washington. She was preceded in death by two grandchildrden, Jesse T. Canter and Lisa Marie Canter; two brothers, Everett and George Carvo.

Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Sunday, March 13, 2005 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Calvin Evans officiating and Interment in Rushtown Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 5 to 7 P.M. Saturday and one hour prior to the service on Sunday.
