Margie Ruth Walker, 89

Margie Ruth Walker, 89 of Portsmouth died Wednesday January 12, 2022 at Minford Retirement Center. She was born August 5, 1932 in Rome, Ohio to the late Clayton and Olivia Moore Kennedy.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John Wesley Walker, whom she married on September 28, 1947, and a grandson Brandon Howerton.

Margie is survived by 2 sons; Donald (Patricia) Walker and Robert (Arlana) Walker, 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held 12:00 PM Noon on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at McKendree Cemetery in Stout with Thomas Williams officiating. Family and friends may gather at the cemetery starting at 11:30 AM. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth.
