Marjorie Joann Mershon Luther, 77 of West Portsmouth died May 22, 2014 at her home. She was born July 6, 1936 in Portsmouth to the late Shirley and Helena Swords Brown. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Phillip Luther,

Marjorie is survived by a daughter Vickie Murnahan, 2 brothers; John and Gary Mershon, 3 sisters; Helen Sommers, Ellen Smith and Geneva Ball along with 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
