Marsha Lynn Boyd White, 59

Marsha Lynn Boyd White, 59, of Concord, North Carolina (formerly of Friendship, Ohio) passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, March 27, 2024, in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. She was born December 25, 1964, in Portsmouth, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Billy and Peggy Holsinger and the late Larry Boyd.

Besides her parents Marsha was also preceded in death by her sister, Debbie Holsinger.

Marsha was a 1983 graduate of Portsmouth West High School and Scioto County Votech where she studied cosmology. After graduating from school Marsha moved to Florida to start her career as a hair stylist. She eventually moved to Charlotte, North Carolina where she met and married her husband Steve Griswold on October 27, 2012, and they became the co-owners of Steven Christophers Finishing Touch Salon.

Marsha lived life to the fullest and never met a stranger, she was always there to lend a helping hand for her family and friends. Family was one of the most important things to Marsha and she always made sure that they were a priority in her life no matter what life's situation was.

She is survived by a son Cameron White of Concord, North Carolina; three bonus sons, Dean Griswold and Marcus Griswold both of Charlotte, North Carolina; Steven (Vickie) Griswold, Jr. of San Francisco, California and one bonus granddaughter, Olivia Griswold. Marsha is also survived by two brothers Kevin Boyd and Billy (Misty) Holsinger, Jr. both of Friendship and a sister Cheryl Holsinger of West Portsmouth. Also left to cherish her memory are many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Private graveside services were held for Marsha at McKendree Cemetery in Buena Vista, Ohio

There will be a Celebration of Life held at the Nile Township Community Center on Friday, April 12, 2024, at 3:30. Everyone is welcome.
