Martha Mae Pollard, 82

Martha Mae Pollard, 82 of West Portsmouth, died Wednesday August 18, 2021, at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born September 6, 1938, in Portsmouth to the late Vincent and Emma Jewell Ferguson. Along with her parents, Martha was preceded in death by a sister Mildred Vernier, 3 brothers; Harold, Jerry and Vincent Ferguson Jr.

Martha was a true homemaker; she was a chauffeur to all the kids and attended all her children and grandchild's events. She was also a member of Stoney Run Freewill Baptist Church. Martha will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Martha is survived by her husband Ronald Pollard Sr., whom she married on April 23, 1955, 3 sons; Donald (Diana) Pollard, Ronald (Julie) Pollard Jr., and Mark Pollard, a daughter, Teresa (Chip) Queen, a brother, Carl Ferguson; 8 grandchildren, Heather (Jason) Cate, Jeromie (Misty) Pollard, Mark (Rachel) Pollard Jr., Joshua (Amanda) Pollard, Kyle Pollard, Scott (Amy) Dials, Justin (Miranda) Dials, and Tate Queen; along with 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home with Curtis Jones officiating and interment in Friendship Cemetery.
