Martina Louise Yelley, 78

Martina Louise Yelley, 78 of Portsmouth, died Thursday December 16, 2010 at SOMC Hospice. She was born March 6, 1932 in Scioto County to the late Archie Paul and Louise Carver Lute. Along with her parents Martina was preceded in death by her husband Cecil W. Yelley who she married on August 8, 1953, a brother Paul Frederick Lute, a sister Jean Lute Crabtree and a granddaughter Stacy Dawn Yelley.


Martina is survived by 3 sons; Cecil W. (Linda) Yelley of McDermott, Paul D. (Patricia) Yelley of Lucasville and Jeffrey D. (Josie) Yelley of McDermott, 4 brothers; Marvin (Dottie) Lute of Waverly, James (Phyllis) Lute of Xenia, Chuck (Judy) Lute of Ironton and Bill (Cathy) Lute of Marion, 1 sister, Donna (Dean) Stiltner of Dayton, 7 grandchildren; Jason Yelley, Chris (Tiffany)Yelley, Nick Bundy, Shaine (Stephanie) Staggs, Justin Staggs, Sami Jo Yelley (Eddie Coleman) and Heather Staggs, along with several other family and friends. She loved all and will be missed by everyone.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday December 19, 2010 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Rase Martin officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8:00 PM on Saturday and one hour prior to the service on Sunday. The family's favorite charity is SOMC Hospice.
