Marvin Rhoden, 48

Marvin Rhoden, 48 of Stout, died Thursday May 22, 2014 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus. He was born February 8, 1966 in Ashland, Kentucky to late Earnest Rhoden and Hazel Lou Bertram Rhoden of Wheelersburg. He was an employee of Nile Township. Along with his father, Marvin was preceded in death by a brother Stevie Rhoden, a sister Patricia Estep and mother in law Beverly Watkins. Along with his mother Marvin is survived by his wife Bobbi Sue Watkins Rhoden who he married on December 26, 2001 in Greenup, KY, a daughter Maegan Leigh Rhoden and a son Earnest Zachary Rhoden both of Stout, a brother Danny (Debbie) Rhoden of Greenup, 3 sisters; Christine Vaughn and Connie Rhoden both of Greenup and Gloria (Tim) Lewis of Wheelersburg, father in law Robert Watkins of Blue Creek, along with several nieces nephews and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday May 27, 2014 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Greg Cooper officiating and interment in Friendship Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday starting at 12:00 Noon.
